Welcome to my new favorite fabric collection. This is Windham's Shelburne Collection. This listing is for one fat quarter of "Three Rings in Action". It shows three rings of circus action on a blue background. It is full of detail.
The second picture shows it pair with other fabrics from the same collection.
A fat quarter is a common patchwork or quilting term which is 18x22 inches in size. If you would like half a yard, please order 2. 4 for a whole yard.
Below is the discription from the manufacture's website.
"Presented by the Shelburne Museum by Windham Fabrics. On display at the Shelburne, you can find a collection of posters from teh Golden Age of the American traveling circus (1870-1950). These posters line a 545-foot lone horse- shoe shaped concourse of the museum. The posters are typically brightly col- ored with attention getting graphics de- signed to draw attention to the new acts, exotic animals, and sensational claims of the circus, soon to come to town. The Kirk Bros. Circus represents the crown jewel in this collection. Edgar Kirk carved 35,000 wooden Circus miniatures to create his folk art masterpiece. Mr. Kirk completed these carvings over the course of 50 years with his pocketknive. Windham fabrics faithfully reproduces this artwork on a premium 44” cotton."
Thank you for looking. Happy Crafting:D
