55% Merino Wool 33% Microfibre 12% Cashmere
A hand knitted, traditional ‘skirted’ matinee coat with lacy pattern and pretty pearl-look buttons.
I made this using my favourite, and very soft, cashmerino yarn in a shade usually described as light seafoam or light duck egg.
It looks almost powder blue in some lights but has a slight green-ish tint – it’s a really pretty shade.
If you’re not sure and would like a yarn sample to help you decide then just let me know.
It is machine washable but I’d recommend re-shaping and drying flat for this one. The buttons are plastic and so machine washable too.
Size/Fit and Actual Garment Measurements
Second Size - to fit 46-54 cm (or 18-19”) chest
In other words, a baby somewhere between 3-9 months but it will depend on the baby - they vary enormously and traditional styles like this were designed to be quite roomy.
Total Actual Chest (measured underarm): 68 cm
Total Hem: 96cm
Underarm Length: 17 cm
Length (at centre back): 32 cm
I will include a spare button and a ball band with washing and care instructions
