Full description
This unique piece is upcycled from an antique, engraved and hand painted paperweight that had seen much better days. It has been carefully stripped back, cleaned up and given a wonderful new lease of life.
A beautiful, faceted paperweight that perfectly suits it's new celestial imagery. This heavy piece came from a collector of glassware and we believe it is lead crystal. It has one very tiny chip that doesn't in any way detract from it as a piece but helps vouch for its vintage!
It does a great job of stopping a newspaper blowing away in the garden, is ideal for weighing down a pile of napkins at a barbeque, or will do the traditional job of holding down paperwork on your desk.
It's also just a very lovely thing to look at!
The base is covered in black felt to protect your surfaces. (Approx 8cm diameter)
