Full description
This item has been handmade by me in my workshop, and is a completely one-off piece.
Approx 22cm high, this square ceramic vessel is hand built using the traditional slab-construction technique. A decorative tree bark pattern was impressed into the surface of the clay before the shape of the vessel was formed. This vessel is coloured with vivid blue and a natural brown glaze, and has melted coloured glass inside in the base - it is like finding hidden treasure when peering inside!
This vessel is glazed with a silky smooth finish and can be cleaned by wiping over with a damp cloth.
It would make a stunning focal point to any room or garden. This vessel can be displayed outdoors due to the stoneware body of clay used, as well as its glazed surface.
