Full description
A waney edged burr elm coat hanger measuring approximately 30" x 8" with 4 good quality brass effect hooks. It is a lovely light golden colour with a very attractive grain pattern.
The 'waney edge' of the tree runs along the top of the coat rack, which gives a lovely natural shape and form. The piece has a big triangular burr, which almost explodes out of the wood in the middle at the top.
The elm is sourced from local tree surgeon; it has a lovely colour and a great smooth grain. Finished with a light coat of Danish oil.
There are plugs cut in the back of the piece, which can be popped out and put into the pre-drilled screw holes and sanded flush. Don’t forget to oil the plug after fitting.
