Nancy is an unusual and funky “sling” handbag in a vintage sixties style. Her simple all in one shape provides a spacious interior. The clean, minimalist lines are relieved by an oversized statement exterior pocket and flap, secured with a large fabric-covered button. She has a handy internal patch pocket for storing items you need to keep handy – keys, mobile, shopping list etc. She can be worn in two ways : as a “grab-bag” with the wide strap held in the hand or as a playful shoulder-bag (see picture 2).

The deceptively simple lines of this bag provide an ideal foil for strong fabric choices. Nancy ‘Blackbird’s’ feature pocket uses a fabulous pattern of colourful birds, trees, leaves and flowers against a black background. The pocket is trimmed with a large fabric covered button in rich purple cotton. This playful pocket is perfectly showcased by the black linen of the exterior and the rich purple lining.
