Full description
This unique tea cosy has been designed and hand made in Devon.
It is 9” wide and 9” high. It fits over a standard small teapot that can hold tea for 2 people.
The design is made using four different fabrics, all blue and white in colour. Three different strips of fabric on the front while the back of the tea cosy is completely blue and white gingham. The lining is a floral blue and white fabric.
Cream ribbon and a blue heart have been appliquéd onto the front of the cosy along with a piece of ‘I LOVE TEA’, name tape.
Using free embroidery to draw on my machine I have Written the word ‘Tea’ and drawn an outline image of a teapot using grey cotton.
On the back there is another appliquéd blue heart with ‘I love tea’, tape sewn onto it.
A useful loop for hanging your cosy is made in blue and white striped fabric.
The cosy is padded with 100% wool fleece.
The outer is 100% cotton and will look good in any home as well as keeping your pot of tea warm.
