Spring Tide is a lovely Bluefaced Leicester 4 Ply Sock Yarn, with added nylon for durability, making this yarn ideal for socks yet soft enough for shawls, scarves and other next to skin items.. Bluefaced Leicester is a British sheep breed and produces the softest of the longwools. Each skein has a generous yardage of 465yds/425m. This skein is hand painted in bold, bright shades of red, sapphire blue, midnight blue, leaf green, copper and purple. Named after the ancient Roman Yule festival of Saturnalia.
