Coordinate your hands and feet!! Lacy socks and fingerless mitts knitted on two needles. The pattern is charted, and includes a mobile phone/MP3 case to make with the left-overs.
Things you need to know need to make the socks and mitts:
Materials
50 (55, 60) g 4 ply/fingering yarn for the socks
30 (40) g 4 ply yarn for the mitts
10 g for the mobile phone holder
pair 2.75 mm needles
row counter
Size
Socks
To fit narrow, average and wide female feet and legs
Foot length 8.5 ins (adjustable)
Leg length 5.5 ins (adjustable)
Mitts
To fit narrow-to-average and average-to-wide female hands. Total length 6.5 (8.5) ins (adjustable). The pattern is very stretchy.
Photo is of the widest socks and mitts, which took one 100 g (420 yd) skein of sock yarn from Natalie at www.theyarnyard.co.uk plus a small ball of co-ordinating yarn for toes and heels.
Tension
28 sts and 36 rows to 4 ins over stocking stitch.
