Full description
This lacy heart was made by pressing vintage lace into the surface of soft clay. The texture created was emphasized by adding deep ruby glaze to the surface. I left the underside quite plain, with a little fabric texture.
There are many uses for this piece. It would make the perfect holder for a little candle, you could use it to keep keys or jewelry safe, or you could use it as a soap dish. It could even be used to serve a cupcake or tiny treat to someone special. The texture is so pretty that you may well decide to keep it empty for decoration in your home.
This piece measures approx 5 x 4.5 inches (12 x 11cm)
Please note - I made a couple of these, the position of the lace may vary slightly as each is unique.
This item is dishwasher and foodsafe!
