A design from my new collection, Gertrude gives you the length and style of a scarf, but can also be worn wrapped round twice and tied in a cute bow to create a super warm cowl.
Gertrude itself benefits from two layers of knitting as it is created in one continuous loop through its entire length. This helps to trap warmth and when doubled up as a cowl, you have an incredible four layers of knitting around your neck. There are also no seams so you can be sure of a flawless look, no matter how you wear it.
I have added generous sized pom poms to the ends of the scarf which are attached to the ends of the braided tie sections. They really do look amazing when Gertrude is tied in a bow or create a lovely finished look if worn as a scarf.
Knitted with 50% merino / 50% acrylic wool. This one is in a gorgeous winter white/very very light cream.
