Full description

Peach variation, reserved for MattDavies2000

I designed my own pattern for an axolotl after seeing naturalist Nick Baker on Harry Hill's TVBurp - he was on the same episode as my Harry Hill meerkat!

Axolotls are nature's version of adult kids who come back home after college and refuse to leave! They're a larval form of salamander that just won't metamorphose into adults - but aren't they adorable?

I have two colour variations: baby pink with fuchsia gills, or palest peach with salmon gills, so if you have a preference remember to let me know. I'm selling them singly, but have two in the photos to show the colour variation.

***KNITTED TO ORDER*** Please see announcement or profile for current order-to-shipping times***

My axolotls are between 7 inches and 8 inches long, and have wired legs to allow you to pose them. They are not suitable for small children due to wiring, but if you would prefer a floppy-legged version I'm happy to reknit to your requirements.
