This is a stunning floral vintage sugar bowl, that has been turned into a fantastic multi-wicked candle!
The bowl is made by Royal Standard, and the gorgeous sweet pea design in beautiful pinks and mauves is called "Fair Lady". Probably dating from the 1960's this is a lush vintage bowl that is pretty as a picture.
The bowl measures 12cm in diameter and stands 6.5cm tall, filled with a hand poured EcoSoy candle, which comes from a fully sustainable resource, is biodegradable, and burns cleanly with no soot or smoke. Once the candle has burned away, simply wash the bowl with warm soapy water - and you have a lovely vintage dish to use as you please!
The wax has been left in it’s natural colour of light ivory, and has a beautiful silky and creamy appearance. The candle can be fragranced with your choice of scent - my recommendation for this particular bowl is, naturally, sweet pea - but you can also choose from rose, jasmine, vanilla, cinnamon, apple or cranberry – PLEASE STATE YOUR SCENT CHOICE WHEN YOU PLACE YOUR ORDER with a “message to the seller”.
As with any true vintage item, the condition of this bowl reflects it's age and usage over the years. We rate the condition of this item as “good” being in a used condition, but very well cared for considering it’s age.
