This tea cosy has been designed and hand made in Devon.
It is 9” high and 9” wide and fits over a standard small teapot that olds tea for two people.
It has been made using 4 different fabrics. Three strips on the front include a mix of stripes, plain cream and small spots in shades of pale pinks.The stripe fabric is a soft Laura Ashley fabric, Which is used for the whole of the back also. In contrast the lining is a bright light blue with large pale pink spots.
Ribbon and lace are stitched onto the front and the word ‘TEA’, has been stitched on with pink cotton.
I used the Laura Ashley stripe to make the handy loop for hanging the cosy so it can look fabulous in your kitchen when it is not busy keeping the teapot warm.
The cosy is mostly cotton outer and 100% wool lining You may hand wash and dry flat to care for this item.
