A simple rectangular notebook made from a new and unused genuine Guinness sign beer mat that was surplus to requirements and has now been rescued and repurposed. These beer mats feature a famous Guinness pub sign – a number of which can still be seen on the exterior walls of many pubs throughout Dublin and Ireland.

“Guinness Time” features a Christmas tree decorated with bottles of Guinness whilst Father Christmas and various creatures all holding a bottle of Guinness toast to a fun season and a very Happy Christmas!

The front cover of each notepad is made from a recycled beer mat and is filled with approximately 125 sheets (250 writing pages) of hand cut, hand punched, recycled plain paper; no need to scribble numbers down on the back of an old stained beer mat anymore! The back cover is made from a red card end page and an upcycled frosted plastic cover.

Each notebook, including covers, is just over 0.50” thick (around 1.5cm) and measures around 4.5” x 3.5” (around 11.5 x 9cm). Each notebook and has been wire bound so that you can fold the cover right back 360 degrees or simply lie it open at 180 degrees flat.

Pocket sized it is perfect as a telephone or desk short notepad.

Great as a small birthday gift for any a friend who likes their Guinness, or as a Secret Santa or stocking filler gift, it would also be great to give to someone who is getting married – ideal for giving to a groom to be, one of the groomsmen, or the best man at a wedding as a fun gift for them to write their speech in and deliver it from on the big day! Much more aesthetically pleasing and fun than bits of card that get muddled up, stuck together or lost!

Please note that these notepads are made from original beer mats, which are recycled and as such may show small signs of wear, although this does not detract from the attractiveness of the piece. There may be wear around the holes punched in them – these are stress marks caused to the soft pulp beer mat when the pressure is applied as it is punched and are to be expected. Although the mat used to create your notepad is recycled it has not been used in a pub, so it is not stained with beer/water damaged.
