Full description
This one looks better in 3D than in the photos! It needs a shake to get the hanging parts aligned.
What I did:
- took a length of black-painted chain
- looped through some greeny-brass metal rings from old earrings
- attached greenish-coppery-metal Things from the same old earrings -- they have an Indian feel, but I honestly don't know where they came from
- added a faux pearl -- the older and more battered the better -- at the join of each ring
- finished off the whole thing with a black satin ribbon
Result: slightly gothy, slightly ethnic, slightly elegant.
Total length 124cm of which 25cm is chain. (There's no fastening: it needs to be tied in a bow.)
