Full description
I was super lucky to get my hands on a whole bolt of gorgeous vintage English Merry widow veiling from the 1940s/1950s. Has a nice drape-able quality that is no longer found in today's modern veiling. Made in the UK.
The veiling is about 15 inches (38 cm) wide when stretched with a 'diamond' width of about 1/2 inch.
Veiling is in good condition with little to no damage to its structure, although with all veiling of this age, some scrunching of the sides and folding will have occurred from years of storage. This can be remedied by placing a moist cloth on top of the veiling and ironing on the coolest heat possible.
