The Victorian butterfly case greetings Card.
-Made from 100% brown recycled card and brown recycled envelope.
-Butterflies cut from old maps. Stitched into place with green thread, each butterfly is numbered.
-Biodegradable corn starch packaging to compost or recycle.
-Size 12.5cms by 12.5cms. Blank inside.
This card is inspired by my love of Albertus Seba, an apothecary who collected natural specimans, categorized them, and stored them in glass display cases. This card represents the Tortoiseshell butterfly (Aglais urticae).
