A place to keep something special or something dear to you - this hollowed out book is the perfect place. Use it flat as a keepsake box, or place it in your shelves along with your other books if you want to keep something private and hidden.
I created this box using a real vintage book-- this one dates from around 1975 - it's a book of exciting stories for girls!. It has a soft blue loth bound cover with the title printed in white on the spine only.
A fabulous gift for girls of all ages!
I chose a girly red cotton dotted with adorable white hearts, to contrast with the blue cover. The edges are lined with matching red satin ribbon.
The whole book is solid, apart from the front cover, which can be lifted like a lid.
Your box will arrive pleasingly wrapped in white tissue and string, with one of my tags. I am also offering free gift wrap. Just leave a note on your paypal invoice or via my Folksy contact if you'd like this option.
