"A large rose-tree stood near the entrance of the garden: the roses growing on it were white, but there were three gardeners at it, busily painting them red. Alice thought this a very curious thing, and she went nearer to watch them, and just as she came up to them she heard one of them say, "Look out now, Five! Don't go splashing paint over me like that!"
"I couldn't help it," said Five, in a sulky tone; "Seven jogged my elbow." On which Seven looked up and said, "That's right, Five! Always lay the blame on others!"
My obsession with Alice In Wonderland, led me to create this super cute vintage style necklace. I have placed an image of Tenniel's illustration of the card gardeners painting roses under a 40x30mm magnifying bubble and set it in an antiqued silver plated lace edged bezel. I added a polymer clay red rose bead and hung it from an 18" antiqued silver plated chain.
PLEASE NOTE: The image looks blurry on the photograph but it is perfectly clear.
If you would like a different length chain, please let me know at the point of sale and I will happily change it at no extra cost.
As with all my jewellery, this necklace will make its way to you in an organza drawstring bag with a Ruby Rouge tag attached. If you have any questions about this item don't hesitate to get in touch :)
