This beautiful brass heart hangs on a black chain, accented with a delicate black bead. The chain also has a gold plated clasp. The chain measures 24 inches long and the heart is 4.5cm long and 4.5cm wide. It is engraved with the words 'He Who Holds The Key Can Unlock My Heart'. The other part to this set is the key which fits the heart perfectly! The key measures 5.5cm long. This would make a great keepsake for you partner as it is attached to a key ring.
The brass is natural brass which shows signs of age. Here you have a choice – Leave it and allow it to tarnish and age to a nice patina, or alternatively, a little wipe with a brass cleaner such as Brasso and a soft cloth will bring the heart and key up to a beautiful shine. It’s your choice!
This would make a lovely set for a couple, knowing each has the other part to make the set whole. The necklace is lightweight and comfortable to wear. As with all jewellery, allow perfume and lotions to dry on the skin before wearing and do not wear your jewellery whilst showering or bathing.
