Full description

This is a lovely blue tit printed on a page of Handel's Messiah Novello and company limited edition. The hand written inscription reads 1936 so the paper is at least 75years old. I found the book falling to pieces on the shelf in my local St. Catherine's Hospice shop and had to have it, the paper has a lovely creamy texture and is perfect to print on.

It features a little image of a Blue Tit hand drawn in ink by me and then translated onto a screen for printing. I love his whimsical expression, he looks just like someone has called out his name!

The blue tit one of the most attractive resident garden birds. Almost any garden with a peanut feeder will attract them and they readily breed in nestboxes. In winter they form flocks with other tit species and a garden with four or five at a bird table at any one time, may be feeding 20 or more.

Measures 5.75 inches wide by 8.5 inches tall.

It is displayed in a 7x5 frame mount, as i have not cut the edge of this paper where it fell out of the book you may wish to display without a mount as I quite like the page edge.
