Original Mixed Media Modern Artwork With Type - 'Alpha Three' - Size 26 x 26 cm
This original modern contemporary investment piece is driven by my love of graphic design, discordant broken fragmented distressed letters, words & numbers, graph paper, my love of black, white with hints of metallic texture.
I created this with all the elements of art and design that I love. From gathering lettering sources to designing and producing on graph paper. I used dry transfer lettering, fine line pen, foil based lettering working straight on to the graph paper.
I suppose it's my art college training and my work as a graphic designer & visual artist that allows me to work so intuitively.
My studio is based in Fife, Scotland where all my artwork is sent to you with love and commitment. I've also exhibited in London, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Dundee and lecture in graphic design as well as fine art. It's my passion!
This artwork was produced on classic technical graph paper. It's the final one in the series of three which you can see in my shop. I think they work really well as 'stand alone' investment artwork or as a complete group of three.
I suggest that this modern piece would look stunning in a living area or work area. What about the discerning man in your life that's difficult to find something unique and original? Consider this as an investment buy for him that will go up in value.
It would be perfect as a wedding gift - it's so original and as as it's from Scotland there's no way the bride and groom would receive a similar item as it's so unique and exclusive.
