Full description
This intricate pendant is handmade of solid fine bronze, with an inbuilt bail at the back for a chain or leather thong. Fired and polished to a deep rich coppery glow, it is also roughly textured to look 'old'. The bear claw design is raised and is based on ancient Native American art, from the Hopi tribe.
Many Indians have different stories for the bear as a Native American Animal Symbol, and there is a special meaning throughout all tribes. The brown bear stands for courage, strength, protection and life.
This is the only piece I made in this design, so it is unique. I hope I've done it justice, having loved Native American art and culture for years. I have borrowed this design from a wooden carving I saw when I was travelling in Sedona, Arizona, years ago.
Size: 25mm x 30mm
Postage will be sent by Recorded Delivery. Please note that while a signature will be required, Royal Mail only insure items lost in the post if sent by Special Delivery - this considerably ups postage prices so please message me if you would prefer this option.
I will always recycle packaging where possible, so your item may rock up in a re-used jiffy bag or a Lego Star Wars box. Green is good, people :)
But do let me know if you'd like it gift wrapped or boxed. I have lots of pretty paper and ribbons :)
Thanks for visiting Morph and do have a look at my other pieces for sale :)
