Full description
A seat in a church where unmarried parents sat, Creepie, often used with stule, chair stool placed by fire often for children - also as a ‘creepi’ in church for elevating preacher in pulpit. Carried to church by the parishioners, or for weddings, in the days when pews were only provided for the toffs!
Each piece with it's own personality (items will have knots and splits unique to that piece). Traditionally used as stools, but with a wide variety of uses in the home, these look equally good in a contemporary/shabby chic setting.
•In the bathroom - use to store clean towels on, or to put your favourite church candles on next to the bath.
•In the kitchen - great against modern gloss units, and slate floors it can serve it's traditional purpose of a stool to help reach those top cupboards, or by the fireplace with a jug of flowers on, or to perch that cup of tea on whilst relaxing. In the living room - make great side/occasional tables.
•In the bedroom - great for bedside tables, especially with the lower level modern bed We make these in various sizes, and also do a higher/wider 'bench' style which are great for handy extra seating at tables.
Solidly buit from hardwood these items will last generations. We can also make to your size specifications/finish.
