This is a delightful vintage Christmas card with a classic Christmas image of a young girl prying.
This card was from a father who was away in the trenches, writing to his daughters at Christmas. His words are very poignant as he writes at the end...
"Daddy will be home with his two little girls never to go for being a solider again"
The front cover of the card has a gloss coating, perhaps because of the conditions it was sent from to protect it.
