External Diameter 12.5cm hight 7cm.
internally its a bit smaller as this box is made from a good thick wood.
This round wooden box has been altered by adding layers of colour and texture. materials used include; Mica mists in three shades, embossing enamels, texture paste, inks and coper wax gilding.
the rich textured areas are in shades of green, copper and turquoise to echo the colours of the peacock feather.
I have further enhanced the box by adding several bead and crystal embellishments as well as crystal glass glitter.
It has been beautifully finished off with a large tasteful and good quality dragonfly embellishment which has also been adorned with crystals and beads.
with daylight being poor and it snowing all day.. I have had to take indoor photos with a flash which has drained the colour a little and not showing the box off at its best. it is much richer looking in real life.
