Full description
This is a warm, soft, fairly dense scarf, handwoven from grey and black blue-faced leicester wool, with a small amount of handspun cream angora. Blue-faced leicester sheep produce one of the best fleeces of our native British breeds - soft, fine and slightly lustrous.
The scarf has a long central section of lengthwise stripes, with 4 cross-wise bands of huck patterning at each end.
20cm wide by 144cm long including handtwisted fringe.
The scarf has been wet finished and can be washed, but I would recommend fairly gentle handwashing.
