Gracie's grandmother would tell her to keep all the 'loves me' daisy (or marguerite as she would call them) petals that she picked and that when she married it was good luck to have them secretly concealed within her bridal gown. Alas, Gracie is still collecting them...
Pretty necklace made of white leather (not harsh white; more like a very soft pale greyish white) good quality white and primrose felt, seed beads, lace flowers and edging and silver embroidery thread. All hand stitched apart from the back on which the felt is glued to conceal any stitching
The centre of the middle daisy is padded and embroidered with seed beads. The two outer daisies have centres that are padded and embroidered in silver with LOVES on the left and ME on the right.
Tie fastens with cream velvet ribbon which have been left quite long so that can be worn lower down or higher on the collarbone. Measures 17cm across at widest point and central flower is 8.5cm high.
Comes in it's own handmade (tea dyed) cotton bag to keep it safe and would make a wonderful gift.Is also gift wrapped.
Each 'gracie make' is lovingly sewn by hand and often feature vintage materials so no two pieces are ever exactly same.
