Butterfly is made of silk from a Japanese obi. That's the belt you tie a kimono with. Obi silk is the most luscious fabric I have ever seen. It's a silk satin the weight of denim and is both beautifully soft and really firm.
Made from folded fabric, Butterfly boasts two triangular pockets. The pockets fasten with an inner flap and the bag is secured with the outer flap. A vintage glass button holds both flaps in place.
Butterfly is lined with a metallic paisley fabric which I found in Paisley, so that was nice.
The dimensions are the same as my clutch purses, but I've listed this as a clutch bag because the fabric is just too posh for a purse.
