Full description
Gorgeous one of a kind beige and cream patchwork quilted play mat suitable for a baby boy. Not only is it beautiful but it practical too as it can be rolled up and used as a play mat, a buggie blanket and after the age of 12 months as a cot quilt. Once he gets too big for it can be used as decoration as a wall hanging.
The quilt front is arranged in squares using 6 beautiful toning 100% cotton fabrics and is backed with beige and cream gingham. Every corner of every block has been hand tied and the quilt edging has been hand stitched. I've used 2oz polyester wadding making it very lightweight and very transportable as it rolls up pretty small. It really is very soft to the touch.
Measuring 89 cm (35'') by 72 cm (28'') and with its own bag this quilted pay mat is ideal to take with you and use for tummy time anywhere .
As a mum of two under 5s I do a lot of washing and the quilts I make are made to wash on 40 degree machine wash. They line dry really quickly but they can also be tumble dried.
