Full description
My design is from an original black and white pen drawing I did entitled 'Psychedelia".
The Art Badge is inspired from my original vintage artwork which I designed as a reminder of the wonderful textiles, shapes, patterns there are in abundance and my love of travel (in particular, Japan). I like to work very intuitively.
In the original artwork, I used old fashioned bottles of inks and very very small sable brushes (which I love working with). Using a fine line designer Rotring pen, I drew the design on cartridge paper and my artwork came to fruition. I decided, just this year, to scan my original 1970's artwork to create some lovely Art Cards & Art Badges.
All my work is produced from my wee studio in Scotland where they are sent to you with love and care.
I'm a professional designer (under the new banner of Red Road Design) and visual artist. I've exhibited in London, Glasgow, Edinburgh & Dundee. I lecture in design and art. It's my passion!
Each 25 mm metal Art Badge is made from top quality metal components. I've also designed and produced a backer card (Red Road Design) to make it a little more special.
It will be placed safely inside an acid free clear sleeve and will be carefully packaged in an unbending mailer for posting.
