Full description
This is a set of five Christmas gift tags. Each has been individually handmade, and no two are the same.
About the materials: Each tag is 9cm long and 4.5cm wide - big enough for a decent-sized message. They’re made of pH neutral, 100% recycled manila card - a lovely sturdy board with a light brown tone and slightly ‘hairy’ feel. Each one comes with a tie made from 3mm satin ribbon in a rainbow of colours - forest green, electric blue, scarlet, sunshine yellow and grape purple!
About the design: Every tag features its own original vintage postage stamp - a bit like a tiny postcard. Each one is a different colour and has been matched to its ribbon!
’Merry Christmas’ has been individually typed onto each tag using my decrepit but much-loved 1930s typewriter. Finally, I’ve added a little swallow in flight, stamped in Encore metallic copper ink.
All five tags will be safely tucked into their own biodegradable glassine paper bag.
These tags are for the gift wrapping connoisseur - everyone is definitely going to be able to pick out your presents under the tree! Please note that I’ve made a few of these sets, so you may not get the exact stamps pictured here.
