Full description
A beautiful 3D collage set in crystal clear resin. An orange butterfly, an image taken from a vintage postage stamp, floats above a fantasy garden of flower and leaf images from gardening catalogues and children's stories. This image has a real sense of depth thanks to the painstaking layering process used to make it; as you look at it from different angles you will see different parts of the picture. The colours are bright and vivid, with a real vintage feel - and are enhanced by a pure pewter setting, which is partly visible in the design.
This brooch and its design are completely unique and one of a kind. Like all my jewellery, it is durable and waterproof, and comes inside a fabric pouch suitable for gift-giving or storage.
