Full description
A handpainted and drawn image of a Japanese waxwing birds in shades of dark copper, with red highlights. Although it is hard to tell in the photographs, the bird's wing is slightly 3D and raised at the tip, giving it a lifelike feel. Painstakingly delicate decoration is layered in transparent resin so that it seems to 'float' in the pendant, which is also faintly shiny and iridescent.
This pendant is completely unique and one of a kind. It has a hanging loop securely embedded into it, and is backed with real copper leaf.
The bird's colours are complemented by a brass chain that is slightly lighter than it appears in my images, and is made in a delicate spiral pattern. It measures 6.5cm from head to tail, and the chain is 55cm long - message me if you would prefer it shorter or longer .
