Full description

A subtle mix of 8mm golden-brown, red and blue Tiger Eye beads arranged in trios separated by 6x3mm Hematite discs.

Tiger Eye (also called Tiger's Eye, Tigers Eye or Tiger Iron) is a popular member of the Quartz family that is usually amber to golden-brown.

It has a silky lustre and displays 'chatoyancy', or 'cat's eye'- the characteristic vertical flash when it catches the light.

Red Tiger Eye is the result of heat treatment of the brown variety, while the blue variety can be found naturally, taking the name of Hawk's Eye, but are frequently dyed.

The blue beads I have used here are natural Hawk's Eye, and as such their colour is much more subtle than the dyed variety.

In ancient Egypt, Tiger Eye was believed to be all-seeing, and was used for the eyes of deities.

Roman soldiers wore the stone in battle in the belief it would give them the courage, strength and cunning of a tiger.

It is still regarded as a stone of courage, confidence, strength and vitality, and is popular in both men's and women's jewellery.

A unisex design, this stretch bracelet will fit a larger wrist, and measures approximately 7.5 inches (19cm).

Ideal gift for him for Father's day, birthday or anniversary.

Your bracelet will be wrapped in tissue and presented in an organza gift bag.

Price includes delivery within the UK.
