Retired but not expired

A little story of how i got here.
I was a carpenter for all my working life, started on the joinery bench, then to site work, windows, loft conversions, you name it, i probably did it, i ended up with a joinery business in Manchester, making tables and table tops for the hospitality business, it was going well, unfortunately i became ill about 8 years ago, sadly forcing me to shut up my business as i was way too ill to carry on, after a couple of years of trekking to the doctors then hospital, and taking every prescription they gave me, i was eventually diagnosed with auto immune disease, but by that time i had developed three forms of Arthritis, dashing any hopes of getting back to work.
Fast forward a few years, and just to keep me busy. i started to carve spoons, as well as make Serving boards etc at home, it really has helped me with poor mental health, but i have now managed to accumulate quite a few spoons, lamps etc, and my daughter and my psychologist suggested i try to sell some as my spare room is getting quite cluttered now, i did plan to go out in my campervan to craft fairs etc, but as you all know the weather is flipping awful, and cold wet weather does not go well with Arthritis, i may still do that in the future, health and weather permitting, but for now i'll see if any sell on Foksy.
