I work from my studio which is in the garden of my home. I'm kept company by the studio cat "Smokey" who loves nothing better than stretching out in front of the log burner all day!
My inspiration comes from my love of the drama of the landscape and countryside, and the animals that live in it. I use a range of media to create my paintings, all my artwork is painted traditionally by hand, using brushes and paint and other media, I don't use a computer, so any splashes, dribbles, run-backs or other interesting effects happen as part of the painting process and are not added digitally afterwards.
I produce a range of gifts printed with my favourite artwork so you can enjoy a little piece of Scotland in your home, or gift them to some one special.
