I started More Glitter Dear in August 2020 and I have been self employed since end of December 2020, I made the decision to leave my job in a Health Food shop and work for myself due to chronic conditions including Fibromyalgia and Arthritis, which had began to progress and take over, despite having been manageable for many years previously.
I found myself unable to do many tasks I'd previously been able to and was needing far more sick days, so, approaching age 43, the decision was made. 2021 was a new year, new start!
In 2021 I ran More Glitter Dear as a stall in Ulverston, Cumbria and for 2022 I've moved to the Market Hall in my home town of Barrow in Furness, I have a permanent stall there selling my handmade jewellery and other quirky brands and Vintage goodies!

I am inspired by kitsch collectables and Mid-century ceramics, favourites being Holt Howard, Lefton, Arnart...
Squeak toys are a passion! Mobley & Sun rubber Co I covet.
Retro patterns and a 'Vintage kawaii' aesthetic would be how I could describe what I love. Kitschy cute? Yep..

Particularly obsessed with decals!
I collect allsorts, and love being surrounded by my much adored toys and ornaments.

My latest projects include making molds from vintage toys to reproduce them and create jewellery! Recently I've found a love of felt stitching to create sweet characters.

I also love reading, coffee, Audiobooks, coloured glass, Art.
