Living in a fishing village in Pembrokeshire, I take inspiration from the natural world around me, from the colours of the heather's and wading birds in the harbour where I walk most morning with my Jack Russell, Orla and use fabrics in my work to reflect this.
Having sewn professionally for many years I also draw from experiences in the past, having worked in a variety of stimulating environments including curtain restoration for the William Morris Society, seamstress work for an Italian bespoke tailor, high street shops and wedding dresses .
My designs feature wool's woven in wales, mixed tweeds and velvet's all on natural linen and include a quality cotton covered feather cushion pad which make each cushion feel sumptuous and cuddly. Each cushion is handmade by me to a very high professional standard.
In 2014 Seaforth Designs was lucky enough to be selected from hundreds to showcase their designs at the Country Living Spring Fair in London. We have also featured in some fabulous top interior magazines such as Country Living, Period Living and Coast Magazines as well as appearing on the BBC Autumn watch and Winter watch sofas!
