I am happy to wrap and send gifts direct to recipients with a note - just specify their delivery address when you check out (I use either special delivery or track 24 so you can follow it round the country to the recipient). Full description
These colourful cufflinks feature vibrant fordite bezel set in sterling silver and finished with standard sterling silver swivel backs for ease of use. The fordite has a swirly pattern mostly in shades of blue with patches of red, white and yellow. The cufflinks have a rounded square shape and are only 14mm across the face, this is smaller than I would normally make so would suit the gent who prefers a more modest cufflink.
The faces measure approx 14mm by 5mm thick and the cufflinks are finished with swivel backs. My partner has been desk testing his fordite cufflinks for years and has yet to scratch them but apparently light scuffs can be buffed out with car wax (I've never tried this though)!
Fordite is the name given to the cured accumulated paint deposits that form in spray booths at automotive plants. The method for painting vehicles has changed over the years and so less fordite is formed these days and it is becoming harder to source. This particular material I believe came from a Harley Davidson factory so these cufflinks would make a great gift for a biker or someone who loves their Harleys. I have a little more of this material so if you are after a particular colour it is worth contacting me and I'll see if I have it in the stash.
