About this item
A magenta pink and dark grey beanie knitted with the contour lines of Scafell and Scafell Pike, made in my Cumbrian studio. A warm, eye-catching wool hat for fell walkers, map lovers and anyone who'd rather wear a mountain than a logo. The design comes from a graphic of the Scafell range, Lake District drawn by my husband, Mark Appleton Design, which I turned into a knitting pattern so the contours flow right around the hat. The deep ribbed cuff folds up for a snug fit over your ears and can be worn high or slouchy. It's knitted in merino wool with no chemical superwash treatment, so it stays soft, breathable and naturally warm.
