I don't like to throw anything away and love how good quality clothing can be easily found at bootfairs and charity shops. I have given this traditional blue denim jacket a new lease of life by adding a large panel of patchwork squares in a gorgeous combination of vintage fabrics. These have been top stitched in place using blue thread.
Very original and individual.

Full description
Traditional denim jacket decorated on the reverse with vintage fabric patchwork squares in blues and green.
7cm squares in a mixture of fabrics in green, blue and pink. Fabrics include velvets, linens, a bold daisy print and William Morris designs. The patchwork fills the whole of the back central panel of the jacket. Nothing has been added to the face of the jacket.
The denim is mid / heavyweight and a mid navy blue with traditional gold yellow top stitching
All sizing labels have been removed but the jacket is medium size and measurements are as follows - width (bust) - 44" (112cm), sleeve length - 62cm (from shoulder to cuff), jacket length - 68cm. Waistband approx 100cm. This would be fitted on a UK women's size 14.
The jacket could be worn loose / oversized or fitted - as preferred.
