Full description

This is a booklet of 10 knitting PATTERNS for a simple beanie hat design worked on two needles. Designs include Boats, Butterflies, Cows, Diggers, Flowers, Hearts, Ladybirds, Sheep, Steam Engines & Tractors. These patterns can be purchased separately from my Folksy shop.

Each design has instructions for XS (extra small): fits 3-6months to 9-12months; S (small): fits 9-12mnonths to 18-24months; M (medium): fits 18-24months upwards.

Hat circumferences: XS 40cm; S 45cm; M 50cm

Materials: Rowan Cotton Glace or any Double Knitting weight yarn.

You will need 1 pair 3.25 needles, 1 pair 3.75 needles and a sewing-up needle.

To knit the motifs you will need to know how to do fair isle or stranded knitting and for some designs you will need to know how to do intarsia knitting, using small amounts of yarn while weaving the main colour behind. There are written instructions and charts to follow and some tips in the patterns for how to knit each design.

The PDF file of 23 pages will be sent to you as an attachment to an email. I aim to reply within 48 hours of receiving payment. Please message me with any queries about the pattern.
