About this item
This little sketchbook is perfect for recording ideas, notes and lists and for making sketches on the go! Whether planning gifts and food, sketching a snoozing granny post-dinner, or listing gifts received on Christmas morning ready for the writing of thank you notes, this is the perfect place to keep all of your festive jottings together and in order! The kraft paper front cover features a print of my original bauble design with the stamped words 'festive jottings' and my 'Mandy Benton Printmaker' logo on the reverse. The book is A5 in size (148mm x 210mm), with blank 140gsm pages. Due to the slightly textured cover and the fact of the design having been hand printed, variations in the print will naturally occur from book to book. This is all part of the beauty of a handmade piece.

My work predominantly comprises hand cut and burnished lino prints, inspired by the natural world and those important people in my life. I love the combination of image and text, so my own cursive writing frequently plays an integral part. * I endeavour to represent my pieces as clearly and with colours as true to life as possible, however some slight variations in tone between the image on screen and the piece itself may occur.*
