Sparkly apples make perfect gifts to adorn your house at Christmas but are perfect all year round. They are great for anniversaries. These fabric apples can be used as paper weights, pin cushions or just as decoration. They are made from recycled fabrics; outdated party clothes whose next stop is landfill. The gold ones are from a sassy brocade miniskirt and the silver from a finely pleated top giving fuller apples. The stalks are made from birch twigs and the leaves are wired pale green vinyl. They are filled with polyester toy stuffing to give a round, plump shape with a layer of lentils in the bottom to give them weight and stability.
