The five strand cord in the photos is made with three complementing colours (rowanberry, wild raspberry & heather) and two charms (spiral & celtic triquetra). About your handfasting cord maker: Annie has grown up on the Isle of Skye and loves her island home. Her mum, Rev Jo Royle, is an interfaith minister and holds intimate elopements and ceremonies. She is always looking for island suppliers for her couples and so Annie was inspired to start Skye Handfasting Cords. Inspired by the colours of the natural landscape, she reflects them in her handfasting cords. She cares deeply about nature and the environment which is why she designed her business to use only natural materials. She is passionate about providing beautiful and meaningful cords with colours that will evoke memories of Skye and the Scottish Highlands.
