Purple Rain is a beautifully constructed fabric shoulder bag in a gentle pyramid shape. Made from luxury fabrics. The front of the bag is made from a mixed textile art piece, which I've painstakingly created from various dress and funishing weight fabrics overlaid and then topstitched with machine embroidery and appliqued co-ordinating yarns. The back is a beautiful furnishing weight devore velvet that really just has to be seen in real life - my photographs capture some of its beauty but it really is stunning, as the colours shift as the light moves. It's like an oil slick and watercolour combined - divine. The strap and facings are both a gorgeous lightweight velvet, in the most intense pink you can think of. Purple Rain has a silver coloured magnetic closure internally. The strap is adjustable between the lengths of 80cm to 137cm, making this bag suitable as a cross body bag. Bag fittings are silver in colour. Fully lined in ivory cotton. Bag sizes: Top width - 22cm Base width - 33cm Height in centre - 22cm Strap - 4cm x 137cm long
