Hello and welcome! This page is home to Beaded Beasties: mixed media box frames of dragonflies and other creatures in a mini environment. Each one unique, made from new and recycled materials. I hope you love what you see.

The die-cut forest from an old Christmas card and lots of appropriate jewellery sowed the seed.

Full description
Sylvester the snowman is welcoming everyone to his corner of the Festive Forest in this magical snowy setting. It is made almost entirely with recycled materials, from old Christmas cards and decorations to pre-loved jewellery pieces.
A beautiful seed bead choker makes a snowy embankment, a sparkly square pendant is a rather posh cabin retreat, a glass pendant is a wintry sun and the swirl of cloud is from another necklace. The diamante dragonfly was a scarf clip and Sylvester himself is made from two Christmas baubles, a shiny ribbon scarf and a large shell chip for his topper. Finally, the tartan hare is cut from a greeting card as were the trees.
This 32 cm square grey box frame will add a wonderful festive touch to your home decor or would make a unique gift.
