I am happy to wrap and send gifts direct to recipients with a note - just specify their delivery address when you check out (I use either special delivery or track 24 so you can follow it round the country to the recipient). I cut and polish my own fordite, surfite and bowlerite, I'm happy to take commissions. If I don't have shipping to your country set up please drop me a message as it might be possible.

This freeform fordite pendant has a muted earthy colour palette and a gently rounded 'shark tooth' like shape making it more unisex than some of my pieces. The fordite has been smoothly set in sterling silver and finished with a simple loop bail in a minimalist style. The fordite has a high dome so this particular pendant isn't reversible but it has an open back setting so you can see the pattern on the reverse. This fordite is dark and muted in chocolate brown, taupe and ochre with hints of red, blue and mustard. This unisex pendant measures approx 50mm (inc bail) by 17mm, it is a thick piece with a high dome (approx 8mm thick). The pendant comes with a silver chain but the bail is big enough that you could pop it onto a leather thong or similar if you wanted to (drop me a message if you would like me to do this).
Fordite is the name given to the build up of paint in spray booths at car factories. I haven't managed to date this material but I suspect it is vintage material due to the lack of metallic/ sparkly layers and the way it handles during polishing (one of my fellow fordite geeks thinks it might be from a Ford factory in the 40's, I haven't managed to match it to a specific colour chart but it is consistent with the colours used at that time). If you want fordite from a specific manufacturer or era then drop me a message, I cut my own material and have a bit of a stash so should be able to help out.
